Mary is a professional surfer and champion longboarder from Ventura, CA, who has traveled the world making a positive impact for youth and adults alike in over 20 countries. She is well accomplished in every area of her life and always carries laughter and warmth wherever she goes.
Mary keeps a motto of LIVE LOVE INSPIRE as she strives to encourage those around her to create a “confident and healthy vision for themselves through surfing.”
She has successfully competed in over 550 surf competitions, taught over 1200 kids how to surf, and founded the well-known nonprofit OLAS Foundation, designed to improve the quality of life for individuals and communities around the world through various ocean-inspired programs. Her M.O Surf Academy in Ventura has been named “Best Local Surf Camp,” and was praised as “Best in the West” by Sunset Magazine.
Mary is an icon and mountain mover in the world of surfing, and we are so fortunate to partner with her in sharing the gift of surfing with youth today.
Betty Belts is based on the Gold Coast in the beach community of Ventura, California. Owner and designer Donna von Hoesslin draws her inspiration from her love of the ocean, surfing, and an active lifestyle. She discovered a way to turn that passion into an elegant, connected design approach, giving rise to a socially conscious business that reflects the deeper values of a life lived around the sea. This shared love of the ocean and community led Betty Belts to become one of MTC Surf's top sponsors.
Estrin-Hinds Construction is based in Agoura Hills, California, and completes most of its projects in Los Angeles and Malibu. Co-founder and CEO Eric Hinds uses his eye for detail, love of nature, and more than 33 years of hands-on construction experience to build beautiful residential homes and commercial spaces of the highest quality. He and his wife, Christine Hinds, embody the company's two mottos, "It takes a village" and "Let's build something beautiful together." Along with constructing stunning spaces, they pour into causes they care deeply about, including sponsoring and volunteering with MTC Surf.
Revolution Board Co. opened in Camarillo in 1996, supporting the local surf and skate community. Then, in 2016, they expanded to Ventura, where they continue to fill the needs of all surf and skate enthusiasts. Run by knowledgeable and sport-loving locals, Revolution is a community hub for all your sporting gear needs, including MTC Surf Merch.
